I remember back in the late 90's and early to mid 2000's,
halloween used to mean something.
I was 9 or 10 years old and I remember spending a couple of hours walking down streets with the neighborhood kids with only the moonlight to guide us in the direction we were suppose to go.
It saddens me that today's youth has been "bitchified" and will never know the pleasure of wandering around in the middle of the night with some friends and throwing eggs and toilet paper all over your neighbor's lawn.
Oh wait...that's "Gate night" the night before halloween,
eh...practically the same holiday.
But my opinion is that halloween is pitiful shadow of what it used to be, and I'm thankful that I was born in the time that I was to have experienced those golden days of mischief, bringing home large sacks of candy, and getting stomach aches the next day:)
